Braintree Town's first team will be in action on Saturday at Stanway Rovers (kick-off 1pm) after the postponement of the Iron's scheduled game against Southend United.
The Iron had been due to play Southend at the Avanti Stadium but the Shrimpers opted not to play the fixture due to concerns over the pitch following work to install improved drainage.
The call-off left Jamie Day's team with a clear afternoon but Rovers have stepped in and offered them a game at their Hawthorns ground.
There was also a game between Braintree and Stanway on Thursday when an Iron reserves and Academy side faced Rovers but Saturday's action will feature the first team.
