COLCHESTER United defender Frankie Terry has been praised after enjoying an 'outstanding' debut for his new loan club Braintree Town.
The U's youngster has linked up with the Iron and made his debut for them in their 0-0 draw with Woking in the National League, on Saturday.
Terry, 20, who has also had loan spells at the likes of Chelmsford City and Aveley, helped Braintree keep a clean sheet and extend their unbeaten run in the National League to five matches.
Braintree boss Angelo Harrop said: "We have had tremendous help from the Cowleys at Colchester United allowing us to bring in Frankie Terry at the 11th hour on loan.
"He has an outstanding debut in my view."
Terry, who made his senior debut for the U's in October 2023, has linked up with several ex-Colchester United players, at Braintree.
John Akinde, Ryan Clampin, Chay Cooper and Marley Marshall Miranda are all currently plying their trade, at the Iron.
